Here’s a filling, scrumptious, and super quick dinner recipe we’ve made Whole 30 approved. The best part? You can substitute any of the filler ingredients to suit your tastes, and you really can’t go wrong!
Stuffed Steak Wheels
1 cup spinach
1 small onion – chopped
3 cloves garlic – minced
2 thin slices prosciutto
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lay the steak flat and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste. Spread spinach over the steak and lay the prosciutto on top.
Heat a pan with olive oil. Sauté the onions and garlic until tender. Spread over the steak. Fry two eggs to your liking and lay them on top.
Carefully roll up the steak and add toothpicks to keep it secure. Slice the roll into 1.5″ wheels.
Sear the wheels about a minute on each side and transfer them to the oven. Bake 15 minutes for medium.
